Modern Art or White Trash?

While Brian was mowing the lawn last week, the lawnmower ran out of gas. He hasn't had time to go to the gas station to get more gas so in the meantime, we have this lovely pattern on our front lawn! Maybe it would look better if I started parking the car on the lawn.

Baby Shower

Last weekend Paige and my aunt Sharon threw me the best baby shower! Everything was perfect; the decorations, the food and of course...the company! The weekend was even better because Bill and Paige and Michelle came up for the weekend. While us ladies were at the shower on Saturday, Bill, Brian, my uncle and dad all played some golf. We told them they could come tot he shower but they wanted nothing to do with us!

Unfortunately, my grandpa Opa is not doing very well. We went to visit him in the hospital today and when we were leaving, this is what he told Brian....

"If these are my golden years, I want to go back to the silver ones!"

On a brighter note, my baby shower was this weekend! I will post about it tomorrow. Right now, I'm going to go eat some dinner and then go to bed.

Only Children

One of my coworkers sent this out baout the birth order of children. I think this pretty much sums me up!

Monterey

This weekend Brian and I took the drive down to Monterey. We decided that we need to have one last "fling" before the baby got here. We went to the Aquarium, Cannery Row and then out to a nice dinner. We had a great "babymoon" but had to come back to reality today.

All we need is a baby....

....and a crib mattress, some diapers, clothes, bottles, you get the idea.

We finished the nursery tonight! I am so excited. The furniture actually wasn't very hard to build. Amazingly enough I only had to tell Brian to be nice once and he promised that it wasn't me he was angry at, it was the screw that wouldn't go in right!
