Yee-Haw! Happy Birthday Gpa!

"Texas is hot!" That is what Andrew says when you ask how our trip to Texas was.  We were pretty lucky though, it wasn't as hot as it could have been.  We had a quick whirlwind trip visiting Gma and Gpa for my dad's birthday.  We've been asking him all year long what he wanted to do for the big 6-0 birthday and he decided he wanted us to come and visit.  The big boys spent the weekend golfing and flying airplanes.  Mom, Andrew and I explored Tomball, went to Chick-Fil-A and swam in the pool.  Our last day there, we flew in Gpa's plane to Mustang Beach.  Andrew is used to the ocean being cold so he was very excited that we could go in it.  Well, he was excited once I convinced him a shark wasn't going to eat him!

Andrew loved the fountain.  It was a nice way to cool off.

Don't let the pool fool it.  It looks nice and refreshing....if you think 90 degrees is refreshing!  It's still fun though!

Andrew had the best transportation from the airport to the beach.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Brian was excited that we could buy fireworks.  We convinced my mom we needed them for dad's birthday.  ;)

Texas fireworks are cool.  They go up in the air!

Preschool Graduation

Preschool graduation means only one thing....my little baby is going to Kindergarten next month!  Andrew had such a great time at St. Eugene's and I'm so glad that we sent him there.  I only wish they were closer so he could stay there for elementary school too.  Andrew made great friends and bonded with all of his teachers.

Disneyland!!!

The Happiest Place on Earth was so much fun!  I was a little nervous about Andrew standing in line and going crazy but he was a rock star the entire trip.  We had great weather, the lines weren't too long and we went on almost every ride.  It was so special to see Disneyland through Andrew's eyes.  He was in amazement at all of the magic in the park.

Andrew had a love/hate relationship with the Tower of Terror (or the elevator ride as he calls it).  He wanted to go on it so I explained it was going to be dark and go fast.  When the ride was over, he was so excited and said he loved it.  The next day we asked if he wanted to go on it again and he said no, it was too fast.  Now, all he talks about is how much he loved the ride and wants to go again next time!  Silly boy.

First ride - Star Tours!

This is what I'm supposed to look like in 50 years.  It's a little scary!

This is Andrew as an old man.  Let's hope for his sake he ages a little better in real life!

I sure hope Andrew drives better when he is 16.
