He gave up and decided pushing it was easier!

Never to little to walk in daddy's shoes!

Andrew and Dylan

Andrew and Dylan taking a break from playing so I could get a picture.

Mmm, snack time.

My best friend from high school, Rebecca, came over today with her son Dylan. Since they live in San Diego now, the boys haven't seen each other for 14 months. The last time they were together, Dylan was just learning to roll over and Andrew was just hanging out. The boys had a great time playing together and Andrew shared his toys very nicely.

Happy Birthday Brain!

We went out tonight with the family to celebrate Brian's birthday and then we came back to the house to have cake and ice cream. Brian is now 35 (or-5,30 for some!). I nicely reminded him all day that I am still a young little wipper snapper in my 20's!! I am such a nice wife.

Andrew was excited to celebrate daddy's birthday

Mmm, cake!

Andrew thinks there should be a birthday every day!

San Francisco!

We had a great time in San Francisco this weekend. Brian, Andrew, myself, Alex and Kelsey went and spent the day on Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf. Kelsey had never been to the city so I made sure that we saw everything we could in one day. The girls were good sports and amused Brian and I with all of the crazy things we wanted them to do! Here is our day in pictures....

First we went to the aquarium on Pier 39. Andrew liked looking at all of the fish.

Alex and Kelsey wanted to go into the fish tank.
(Crazy thing #1 we made them do!)

The touch pools were really cool. We pet a tiger shark, bat rays and starfish.

Then it was time to eat at Hard Rock Cafe.

I guess we were a little too boring for Andrew!

Trying on the hats at the Krazy Tops store was actually Alex's idea. Taking pictures and posting them on the internet was ours though!
A Hot Dog and Pizza

I'll be the queen!

The girls said the sea lions were really cool but they could have done without the smell.

Making the girls pose with a street performer was also on the top of their embarrassing events we had them do!

Mmmm, ice cream sundaes at Ghiradelli Square.

I love this girl!

It was a little windy out that day!

Duste Family Reunion

Many thanks to Bob and Sharon for hosting the Duste Family Reunion on Saturday. There were 37 Duste's that got together to eat good food and have a great time. We ate, drank, swam, played horseshoes and Bocce ball. My cousin came down from Idaho with her friend Kelsey and it was so great to see her. Andrew and Alex became quick friends and we can't wait until she can come down again to visit.

Andrew's Laps

This is Andrew's new nightly activity. He runs from the kitchen to the living room and back again. Brian says he is doing his laps! Most of the time he is carrying his ball or a book around with him.

Starting a new chapter

Today is a big day in the Wing household. Brian has his first class this morning for his MBA and I am coming out of retirement and going back to work. Wish us luck!

Keep on reading!

Andrew and I got back last night from a whirlwind week of fun! We picked up Paige and Hayley at the airport, visited Oma in Alameda, met with old friends from college, went to Tahoe for Girl's Weekend, met Jennie for lunch on the way and then headed to Bass Lake to drop off Paige and Hayley with her family.

Instead of one REALLY long post, I broke our adventures up into a few semi-long posts! ;) I think the best way to read them is to scroll down to the first post (College Playdate) and read backwards.

Ending the Weekend at Bass Lake

After spending a great week in Tahoe, it was time to take Paige and Hayley to the Kollen family vacation at Bass Lake. We had a 5 1/2 hour drive from Tahoe to Bass Lake and the kids both did great! We only stopped once to let the kids out of the car and eat lunch. Otherwise they were napping and talking the entire trip. The Kollen family was nice enough to let me crash their vacation for a night so I didn't have to turn right around to go home. Even though the entire clan wasn't up there yet, it was a wild and fun time. Andrew was the only boy out of 8 kids and he quickly learned everything he needed to know about princesses, bows and dresses.

In the middle of nowhere!

Girl's Weekend - Part Three

What would be cuter than five mommies and five babies? If the five babies were matching! Everyone who passed us when we were together gave us the craziest looks and some were brave enough to come and ask us why we were all together. One lady thought we all met in childbirth class, another thought we were here for a wedding and a lot of people just stared as they passed five moms pushing five strollers all over the mountain.

I love this little guy!

Paige made all of the babies matching towels for the pool.

Andrew loved wearing his towel around the condo.

Best Friends!

What a cute bunch of babies!

The best group of mommies and babies.

Paige tried all weekend to get this picture right. Either Andrew wouldn't lay down, a baby was crying or someone wasn't looking! Just wait until they are older and we still make them do it!
