The Turkey Hunt

Brian took the opportunity to do some hunting at Bob and Sharon's yesterday. Unfortunately they have quite a few turkey's that like to hang out in the vineyard. They are fun to watch but they like to eat a lot of the grapes which isn't good. While we were there yesterday, the turkey's came into the vineyard and Brian jumped into action!

It looks like just a black spec but that is one of the turkey's in the vineyard

Brian started hunting the lazy way from the deck on the house

Then he decided he needed to get closer!
Unfortunately, the turkey's all managed to get away but hopefully they got scared enough to not come back!!

Andrew's First Easter

We had a fun-filled Easter over here at the Wing household. The day started off by going to church, then we came home to see what the Easter Bunny brought. Andrew when down for a quick nap and then it was off to Zia and Zio's house for our family get together.

I wasn't sure how Andrew was going to do with an Easter egg hunt but I told the Easter Bunny to hide the eggs anyway! When I brought Andrew out, he was excited to see his swing set had been taken over by Easter and went straight after the eggs.

After nap time, we were off to Bob and Sharon's (Zio and Zia) house. We were surprised that the Easter bunny had visited their house too! We all went on an Easter egg hunt and had a great time. Their hunt was a little more challenging as the Easter bunny actually hid the eggs!!

This holiday was a little bitter sweet because it is our last "first" holiday with Andrew. No more babies first holiday stuff anymore.

Best seat in the house!

It didn't take Bella long to figure out where the best seat in the house was! (Sorry the picture is fuzzy, I had my camera on a weird setting.)

Thirsty?

Andrew loves to take a bath and he even loves it more if I let him play while the water is still running. This is his new trick that he likes to do. Perhaps I need to give him more water at dinner??

The babies are all here!

Michelle and Greg welcomed their son, Brewer Bradley Macway to the world last night. This brings an end to all of my pregnant friends. Now Andrew just has to patiently wait for all of his new friends to grow up a little so they can play!

Fun in the Rockies!

Andrew and I got back from our visit to the Robers' last night. We had so much fun while we were there and managed to pack a lot of activities into a short amount of time. We went to the zoo, Air Force Academy, see the Easter Bunny and visit with friends. Andrew did great on both plane trips and even had a special treat on the way home. (You'll have to read the blog to see what it was!) Paige, Bill and Hayley were amazing hosts and made us feel like we were at home. Paige had a ton of fantastic toys for Andrew to play with and he was in heaven crawling around and exploring his new surroundings. Thank you Robers for an amazing trip. We can't wait to come back and visit. Perhaps when there is less snow on the ground!

On our way to visit the Robers!

Our visit to the zoo was awesome. I wasn't sure what Andrew was going to think but he had a great time. He loved looking at all of the animals and got really excited when we were feeding the giraffes. At first he seemed a little scared and was making a hissing noise whenever a giraffe would come near us. Towards the end he seemed to be a little more comfortable and not as scared.
Andrew liked watching the gorilla's

We got to pet a skunk when we were there. Don't worry, it's stinker had been removed!

Andrew is hissing at the giraffe in this picture. He had never made this noise before and since I am a great mom, I kept bringing the giraffes over so we would make the noise again!

Our visit to the Easter Bunny was a success. Andrew absolutely LOVES the Easter Bunny. He started laughing and waving as soon as we saw him and was a complete ham the entire time we were there. Hayley enjoyed her visit to the Easter Bunny as well.

Our visit to the Air Force Academy. It started to snow while we were there so we drove around to see the different planes and jumped out long enough to take a picture! I asked if it was too early to enroll Andrew and they said I would have to wait a few more years...

I have been part of an online mother's group since I was 3 months pregnant. One of the mother's lives in Colorado Springs so we met up while I was there. It was great to see someone who I have been talking to every week for the last year and a half.

I think Paige just wanted us to come so she would have someone to shovel off her car!

When we were getting off of the plane in Oakland, I asked if Andrew cook peak into the cockpit of the airplane. The pilot said he could do even better, Andrew could sit in his seat! You can't see if very well in the picture but he even gave Andrew his pilot's cap to play with.
