Up to nothing

We haven't been up to much this last week. Brian's been busy working and going to school, I've been busy trying to get things in order at work and Andrew has been busy...well, just being Andrew! I just flipped the calendar over to October though and saw that we have something planned every Saturday for the next 5 weeks so I'll have plenty of material for everyone to read.

Happy Boy

Still happy

Doing my nightly laps. He grabbed my lunch box and ran around the house with it and thought he was funny!

Open your eyes!

This is one of Andrew's new tricks. He walks around the house with his eyes closed and a goofy grin on his face. We keep telling him to open his eyes but he doesn't listen. He just runs into the wall, furniture, door, me, whatever is in his way. Then he stops, looks up, laughs, turns around and starts all over again. I think this trick comes from Brian's side of the gene pool!!

Bunco Baby Shower

Kate and Priscilla are due in two months so we surprised them this month at Bunco with a Baby Shower! Both ladies were very surprised and enjoyed all of the diapers they got. Hopefully they will be able to come next month for one last night off before the babies come. If not, we all volunteered to bring Bunco to the hospital while they were in labor! Aren't we such thoughtful friends! ;)

Doing the string trick to make sure Kate is really having a boy

Is P really having a girl?

It's present time!

I'm watching football!

There has been a change of roles here in the Wing household. Last night, Brian went off to school and I sat at home voluntarily watching Monday Night Football! I never thought that I would choose to sit down, turn on the TV and change the channel to ESPN to watch the game by myself. I joined a Fantasy Football League this year and have my very own team. I had no choice but to watch the game and cheer (AKA yell, scream and jump up-and-down) for my players. Alas, I didn't cheer enough because I was 2 points shy of winning last night. Once I realized there was no way I could win, I turned off the TV in a huff and went to bed. OH well, there is always next week and my team is ranked fairly well in the league (meaning I'm not last!).

Stay tuned, we are in the process of teaching Andrew how to put his hands up in the air whenever we yell "Touchdown." He actually licked up the motions very quickly but we are still working on consistency!

Our day with the duckies

Andrew, Gma and I went out to the lake today and fed the ducks. Andrew had so much fun running after them and I had fun making sure he didn't pick up ducky poop or get bitten by a goose. As long as Andrew had a stick in his hand, he was a happy boy running around and talking to the ducks. He is such a boy!

Enjoying the day out with my little man.

"Come here duckies, I have bread!"

"Now I have a stick too!"

Gma and Andrew checking out the pond.

"Come back duckies!"

Andrew's First BBQ Ribs!

Andrew had his first taste of BBQ ribs tonight. He loved them and asked for a second one after he finished his first. Before I get a bunch of comments asking if I was scared that he was going to choke, Brian checked the ribs that we gave him first to make sure there weren't any bone bits or hard pieces he could choke on!

Bella was very happy to get Andrew's left over bone!!
