It's the Great Pumpkin Andrew!

Andrew was so excited to carve our pumpkin tonight. We turned on It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and Andrew ran back and forth watching the movie and supervising daddy. We let Andrew play with the guts and he liked eating them. We had to make sure that he didn't eat any seeds!

Dad, let's carve the pumpkin

Wow, that's so cool dad. Let me touch it.

I wonder how much I can fit into my mouth?

Good job Dad.

Getting some carving tips from Lucy

Yumm, pumpkins taste good.

Happy Halloween!

How can 1 little haircut make Andrew go from looking like a little boy to a little man?

So much to say

Andrew has quite a lot to say these days. We are starting to understand him more and more each day. Most of his words are variations of the real word but we still are able to understand what he is trying to communicate. Here are the words that he is now saying:
  • Bottle (baba): really means he wants his sippy cup
  • Good night (ni ni)
  • Bye (bu bye)
  • Touchdown (tchdon)
  • Muah (when giving kisses)
  • Light
  • Bella (lella)
  • Daddy
  • Fish
  • Mama
  • All done
  • More
  • Yeah
  • Car
  • Book (this is also BaBa but said in a different way than bottle)
  • Hi
  • Ball

Brewer's Baptism

Brian and I were honored today to welcome Brewer into the church as his Godparents. Brewer did a great job during the mass and only made a small squeak when the water "as cold as the river Jordan" according to the priest, was poured on him. It was a wonderful service and we are so blessed to have the Macway's in our lives.

Welcome to God's family!

Red Hats

Grandma Darlene came over yesterday on her way to a "Red Hat" event. She joined the Red Hat Society a few months ago and has been having a great time. If you remember, we bought her a hat at the Sonoma County Fair this year and she wanted to show Andrew and I her new outfit for her event. I can't wait until I am "young" enough to join the Red Hat Society!

Andrew wanted to match Grandma!

Pumpkin Farm

It's that time of the year again to go out and find the perfect pumpkin for Halloween. Andrew had a great time running around the pumpkin farm, checking out the animals, finding his way through a corn maze and then going with daddy to find the best pumpkin out in the field. It is so much fun to take him out and see all of these experiences through his eyes. Everything is new and exciting to him and that excitement rubs off to us.

Wow mom, look at that goat!

Here we come out of the children's corn maze.

Dad, look at all of these pumpkins!

Let's get this one daddy.

I'm getting so tall!

Mom, how do you expect me to stay still for a picture with all of this fun stuff around to play with?!
