Master Brian!

Brian would now like to be addressed as "Master Brian!" After 3 1/2 years of studying, group projects, tests and homework, Brian is done with his MBA!  Andrew and I are so proud of him and his accomplishments. 

Derby Day - 2012

Who knew that I would ever find wearing a hat and betting on the ponies fun but I absolutley love it! The event is heald annually at the winery and it gets better every year (probably because my horse won this year!!).  I find myself keeping an eye out for hats all year long that I can wear.  This year, I was once again talked into being one of the models for the hat fashion show.  It's really an easy job because they do my make-up, hair and hat selection.  I just have to make sure I don't fall down on the runway or make myself look like too much of a fool.  But, it's for a good cause and it's a lot of fun.  The Council on Aging raised over $120,000 this year for their Meals-On-Wheels program.  It feels good to be able to say that in our own way, we contributed.

Cousin Slumber Party

Trevor came to stay with us overnight while Scott and Michelle were partying like rock stars in Vegas!! Trying to get pictures of the boys was a little challenging...

Choo Choo Soul Concert

Andrew went to his first concert last night! Choo Choo Soul is a music program that plays on the Disney Channel. Andrew loves dancing around with Genevieve and DC so when I found out they were coming to Santa Rosa, we had to go. Andrew told all of his friends at daycare that we were going to a concert and he was going to ROCK OUT!! We started with a fancy dinner at In-and-Out and then off to the concert we went. Andrew did great and was dancing in the aisle and singing the songs. It was so much fun and he keeps asking when we can go again. I may regret taking him when he is in high school and wants to go to concerts without me!

Easter Morning

The Easter Bunny came to our house last night!!

Egg Hunting in Wine Country

I love living in Sonoma County. Where else can you go on a egg hunt through the vineyards?! We couldn't have asked for a better day. We met our friends the Oliver's and Scott, Michelle and Trevor at Coppolla Winery in Healdsburg. They hosted an egg hunt for over 400 kids along with games afterwards. The event is getting so popular, tickets sold out in under 4 minutes! (It's about time my obsessive stalking came in handy. I was at the computer 5 minutes before tickets sales and kept trying until it went through!). The weather was perfect and even though there were tons of kids, the event went really smooth and seemed seamless. A great time was had by everyone and we can't wait to go back again next year!!

Coloring Easter Eggs

I know I say this every time but holidays are so much fun with Andrew. He talked all afternoon about coloring Easter eggs and couldn't wait to get in on the action. I had to stop saying we were going to "dye" eggs because he kept asking way the eggs were dead! Andrew and Brian did a great job and didn't even get my kitchen dirty! Now we have to wait for the Easter bunny to come and hide them all.
