Friends!

We're so lucky that Jen, Zippy and Grevin live so close! They came over on Saturday night so we could celebrate a belated St. Patrick's Day. Since St. Patty's Day fell on a Wednesday and Zippy and Brian were working and in school, we all missed out on a proper corned beef dinner! So, I bought everything on Saturday and we partied away.

The boys were having trouble taking turns in the car so this was my solution...turn it into a 2 seater!

Birthday Party Fun x 2

Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to Grevin and Lee!

Sunday was birthday party day! We went to Grevin's 1st birthday party in the afternoon and then over to Lee's birthday party that evening.

Grevin's birthday party was so much fun. Andrew had a great time playing with all of the fun games and activities that Jen had arranged. The weather was fantastic. The sun was out, the birds were singing, the flowers were in bloom...sorry I got a little carried away for a minute but I am just loving the spring weather we are having this week!

The fun continued into the evening when we went over to celebrate Grandpa Lee's birthday. Andrew has a great time going to two parties in 1 day. Yes, I was a nice mom and he got to have a little (read: 3 bites) of cake at both parties!

Zoo-riffic!

We had a zoo-riffic time at the Oakland Zoo today with Michelle and Brewer! We went ahead and bought a season pass so we can come back and see the animals anytime we want. Andrew had a great time watching the animals and playing with Brewer in the Children's Park. We can't wait until we go back to see our furry friends.

Fun in the snow!

We're back from another fun-filled weekend in Tahoe! We went up a little early this time so we got to play for 4 days. It was a great weekend visiting friends, playing in the snow and relaxing.

Since Andrew and I can't go to Jared's birthday party next weekend, we took the drive over the mountain to see the Colato's. Grevin, Jen and Michelle came with me so they could visit too. The kids had a great time playing and checking out all of Jared's toys. We tried to get a picture of the three musketeers together but they had different ideas!

No dancing on tables

Andrew's new game is to climb on top of our coffee table. The trick itself isn't all that new, he mastered that skill a while ago but now he thinks this is the best game to play. He knows he isn't supposed to be up there so he waits for me to go into the kitchen or down the hallway and up he goes.

Tonight, I was in the kitchen making dinner (Brian was at school) and I hear a thud followed by crying. When I came around the corner, he was laying between the table and the couch. After checking him out and deciding that nothing was broken, I went back to cooking. We had dinner and I went back into the kitchen to clean the dishes. THUD......WHHHHAAAAAAA!! Yep, off the table again. I guess falling from the table doesn't hurt enough to discourage the behavior.
