Sorry, I got behind blogging. Once the holidays hit, I didn't have time to download the photos from the camera, my phone, the other camera, another phone....you get the idea. So scroll down and don't forget to hit "read older posts" because these go all the way back to the beginning of December!!
Happy Reading. :)

Look who's in Tahoe again!
We're back up in Tahoe again and still no snow. To add to the sadness of no snow, it RAINED the entire time we were there. It turned to snow for a brief moment on Sunday night which gave Brian a little ray of hope that there would be fresh powder on the mountain! He lasted two hours on the slopes before he was back at the condo warming up.
We didn't let a little (really it was A LOT) or rain ruin our trip though. We made the best of the weekend and made candles up in the village, hot tubed in the rain/sleet, splashed in puddles and made smores in the fireplace. We even ventured up to the Ritz where they had better snow to make snowmen.

| Andrew made a "snow monster." The rock on the top is the monsters brains. It's awesome having a boy! |

School Fun!
Andrew has had a busy month in Kindergarten! They celebrated the 100th day of school and the next week they celebrated Chinese New Year.
I volunteered in the classroom for the 100th day of school. Each K classroom had a different activity set-up for the kids. In Mrs. Dabbs class, the kids made a sculpture with 100 marshmallows. In the other classrooms they made crowns, snacks using 100 pieces of goodies and masks.
For Chinese New Year the Kindergartners paraded around the school with their dragons and shakers. When you ask Andrew to say Happy New Year he says "Gut nay hat choy." Close enough!

Is there snow yet?
There still isn't any snow in Tahoe but that doesn't stop us from going and having a great time! We went up with the Donnell family. Savannah and Andrew had a blast skiing together down the mountain. They were both surprised at how good each one was. It was really cute because they kept wanting to ski together all day.
In the afternoon, we ventured over to a festival that was going on. Little did I know what I was walking into....they were offering free lessons and snowboard demos for kids. I tried to say no but then they showed Andrew a Star Wars snowboard and I knew I had no choice. He now thinks he is a snowboarder. Lord help me!

Wine & Wishes - 2014
What is more fun than dressing up? Dressing up, going to the city and raising money for an amazing organization. We went with Jen and Brandon down to Treasure Island to attend the Make-A-Wish annual Wine and Wishes event. It is a great evening of wine tasting, food pairings and of course a live auction. We entered to win the raffle but sadly, we didn't win. We did have a great evening though and the night raised over $800,000 for children.

MLK Day show
Andrew's class performed a poem for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. They have been learning about him in school and Andrew was so excited to perform for the school. If you ask Andrew who Martin Luther King, Jr is he says: "He was a nice man who wanted everyone to be friends but someone didn't like what he said so they shot him and he died." Pretty accurate.

Exploritorium
For my birthday this year I wanted to go down to San Francisco. The Exploritorium recently moved and we thought it would be fun to take Andrew and go on an adventure. I was a little worried that he was still too young but I was wrong! I loved all of the exhibits and you could see his little mind working trying to figure out how everything worked. It was fun to see some of the same exhibits they had when I was a kid are still there.

| On the way home we stopped in Sausilito for a cocktail. It was a beautiful day in the city! |
