Volume Control!

I think it's time to teach Andrew about inside voices and volume control! Andrew's new favorite activity is to pull Scout (the green stuffed animal) around the house. It's cute the first couple of times but turn your computer up full blast and repeat for thirty minutes. Then you'll get a small gimps into my reality!

Weekend at home

We had a nice weekend at home. I had to work in the afternoon on Saturday so Brian was on Andrew duty but other than that, we hung out here all weekend! After having something going on every weekend since Christmas, it was nice to be able to just relax this weekend. Brian cleaned out the garage, I did some shopping and we played a lot with Andrew.

This is what happens when I leave Brian in charge! He swears Andrew climbed in there all by himself with Bella. (I do believe him because Andrew does this a lot but it is still funny!)

Happy Boy!
(I can't wait until he gets over his finger sucking habit)

Perfecting his skills

Taking Scout for a walk
(Again, trying to get a picture without the fingers is an impossible task)

Mom, don't bug me. I'm busy playing with my choo-choo.

Reverse Botox

Seriously, this is getting old. I've been told more than once that I look young. Tonight at work, a lady asked me what my plans were after I graduated from college. I had to nicely say "I graduated seven years ago and you're looking at it lady!"

Does anyone know where I can get a reverse Botox treatment? I think I may need to get some wrinkles and laugh lines drawn on my face. And, before I get a bunch of comments saying "you'll be thankful one day for your youthful looks," I already know! It still doesn't change the fact that looking like I'm a youngster is annoying!

Fetch Andrew

Andrew will do this for however long you will throw the toy. Perhaps Bella could learn something from him!

Wine, Wishes, Birthdays and Touch Downs!

Another fun-filled weekend for the Wing's. On Saturday Brian and I went to a wine tasting and dinner on Treasure Island. Make-A-Wish sponsors and event every year at the winery and to thank us for all we do, they gave us some tickets to this amazing event. The first two hours of the event was a gourmet food and wine tasting followed by a five course meal with a live auction. It was a good thing Brian was there or I would have bid on every item they had! It was an amazing night and a lot of money was raised for such an amazing cause.

The team from the winery.

On Sunday we got ready to watch the big game. Lee and Darlene came over to watch the Super Bowl and celebrate Darlene's birthday. We all had a great time and I am so happy that the Saints won!!
Touchdown!

Happy Birthday Darlene!
(I made her a "red hat" birthday cake)

Cheers!

Tahoe...on the road again!

Whew....we're back home again! After getting home from New York, we slept in our beds for two nights and then headed up to Tahoe! Our friends Jen and Zippy were going to be up there so we decided we needed to go too. We had so much fun and are glad that we decided not to stay home. (I convinced Brian that the condo was like our second home so really, it wasn't like being away at all!)

On Saturday the Colato's came over the mountain to visit with all of us. The kids had a great time playing and the adults had a good time chatting away. The babies are catching up to Andrew quickly, they are mobile now and interested in his toys as well. We are working on learning to share!

(It's kind of hard taking pictures of kids who would rather be playing!)

Mommies and Babies

Daddies and Babies

Saturday evening, Jane and Zephy (Zippy's mom and sister) volunteered to watch the babies so we could have some adult time. We ventured up to the village and then over to the hot tub. At the village, the boys met Mr. Gordon from Gordon Biersch. We asked the boys if they wanted a picture and their response was: is it blog worthy? Oh yes boys, everything is blog worthy!!

Poor Grevin seems to have a problem with socks. I don't know what the socks ever did to him but he HATES to keep them on. Jen was scared that his little toes were going to get cold in Tahoe so she decided she had to do the best thing for her son and buy him some man tights. (OK, they weren't really man tights but I'm trying to make it sound a little less girlie!)

Grevin was too embarrassed to show his face to the camera!

Jane and Zephy spoiled us again and watched the babies on Sunday while we skied. The weather was fantastic and it felt great to get out on the mountain.

After a day of skiing, the boys wanted to get their turn on the snow!

Daddy and Andrew

Thanks so much to Jane and Zephy for watching the boys. We really appreciate it! Also, thanks to Oma for letting us use the condo. We wouldn't be able to enjoy this sport without you! This trip really made us all stop and think about how lucky we are to have such amazing and supporting family. Thanks everyone! :)
